Burning Bridges

Burning Bridges was a result of collaboration with the rapper Benny Banks on the cover design for his album release, after a hiatus of over ten years. Using his recognisable palette of primary colours developed post his Antarctica project, Azam depicted a solitary figure faced with the uncertainty of contemporary urban environment.

The painting was used as the lead image in the extensive album campaign across London Underground (in collaboration with Art Below) during the 2022 Frieze Art Fair. It also included a limited co-signed print edition.
